Behind every great brewing company...

Richard's interest in brewing started very young. Fortunately, Richard's father turned a blind eye to his disappearing homebrew, perhaps recognising his son's appreciation of quality.

After studying at Heriott Watt University in Edinburgh Richard joined Courage as a graduate trainee. Richard has also worked for Pilgrim brewery in Reigate and was Head Brewer at Archers in Swindon between 2000 and 2003. With a view to establishing The Cotswold Brewing Company, Richard recently completed an MBA at Oxford Brookes University.

Emma has worked in IT since graduating from Bristol University. She has worked for IBM, Oracle and Safeway in a range of roles including sales, project management and business analysis. Her experience of the brewing industry, though not to be underestimated, lies solely in tasting.
